Great Light for EMT and Medics

As an EMT on an ambulance night shift I often find myself needing a third hand to hold a light while I’m gathering information, taking vital signs or bandaging a patient. My new Quiqlite X provides plenty of light in the “low power” mode for nearly all these tasks. in the “High Power” mode, it provides plenty of light for walking down dark pathways while managing our stretcher.I took the alligator clip off because the light fits perfectly into the mic clip hole on my shirts. But I make sure to keep the clip handy in case I need to clip the light to my cap or jacket.Excellent product!

I can write without anything in my armpit

I like this little light. Original I thought I would use it more than I actually do. Most of the time, I already have my mag light out and just use that on traffic. But when I’m writing in my notebook, that is when this thing shines. I can grab ID’s with my notebook out and not have the mag light t-rex arm. Battery life is great, can go about 2 weeks on a charge (the way I use it). First one was broken and the company fixed it for the cost of a couple stamps. I don’t use the magnetic clip or light beam thing. Don’t really have a use for it. Other work fields may and it’s cool they provide it.

Highly Recommended!

I have nothing bad to say about the product. It really is what’s described.I have it attached to my outer police vest (see pictures) and it slides right into a MOLLE spot once the clip is taken out. it holds battery very well and is great for when you are writing something in front of you (like a ticket) with the help of the red light. the white light isn’t too bright, but for something this size, it’s bright enough for the purpose. sometimes I will use it when I’m looking for something in the truck, or I need a white light in front of me. (like lighting up a pathway directly in front of me)overall it’s a great product for officers (or anyone who needs a light in front of them when a third hand is needed) and if you work the night shift, it’s really a must. I had few people ask me about it. One Border patrol agent saw it, loved it, and went and bought one.

I Love This Light!

I love this light. I had the original QuiqLite and it worked great for 3 years of heavy use, but used expensive batteries. This light is rechargeable and made of aluminum. Seems more durable than the original. I am a cop in one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S. I work midnight shift. Safer and easier than putting your main flashlight under your chin and shoulder when taking field notes. I wear mine in the pocket pen slot on the left instead of under the pocket. I prefer to keep my pens under the pocket flap so they cannot be used as a weapon against me. If worn under the pocket flap, it is a bit large and will make the pocket protrude enough to be noticeable. That placement will also impair the ability to aim the light at a higher angle, like straight ahead. Not a deal breaker and I wore the light under the pocket for a month and still thought it was highly useful. The red light is great for general note taking while preserving your night vision. White light is great for looking for items hands free in a trunk or bag. I have used this light on traffic stops using the white light pointed straight ahead as I’m speaking with the driver. Distracts the driver and gives me the edge allowing me to write down driver info when needed while keeping their hands and the passenger compartment illuminated. A bonus was the attachment that clips over the LED bulbs that turns the light into a mini light beacon. I used this with the magnetic clip and attached it to the trunk of an accident vehicle that ran down an embankment onto the freeway. As my cruiser was at the top of the embankment, I ran down to render aid. I activated the strobe feature of the light and attached the magnetic clip to the vehicle. The light alerted oncoming drivers and I believe it prevented a secondary accident until another cruiser arrived and activated the red and blues from the freeway. This light was invented by a cop and it shows. I believe this simple light can save lives if utilized properly. I’m not offiliated with the company in any way in case you are wondering. Your notebook will be illuminated and you can take your notes while keeping an eye on your subject. I plan on purchasing a second light as a backup. I feel this light is a great value and a must have for law enforcement. Recharges using a mini USB plug, the same as my cell phone. Recharging time is quick and I have not yet drained the battery down. I charge it about once a week Just my honest opinion.

Stay safe out there!

Great Little Light for LE

I recommend this for any law enforcement agency. This is good for writing tickets and for writing your report in the unit or just to light up the ground while you do property checks.

Awesome Light!

Quiqlite X Rechargeable Pocket Concealable Flashlight with Red/White LED’sI came up the Quiqlite rechargeable light and had to try it out. I am always interested new products. The Quiqlite has two LEDs, the one I tested had a white, and red LED. You simply clip the Quiqlite to your pocket. To activate the light press the button on the body of the light it will turn on and then press the small button on the back and the light it will cycle three a white and red light. The white LED has two levels of brightness which are controlled by the button on the rear of the flashlight. If you hold the button on the body of the light and hold it for a few seconds it will flash white to red. I tried the accessory the Xfare which fits over the LEDs and makes the light look like a miniature police light. This feature is very useful to signal others.

The Quiglite can rotate 360 degrees as well as bend about 270 degrees. This enables you to focus the light where you need. The lumens go from low at 20 to 75 on high.

The flashlight comes with a rechargeable battery which is charged by using a mini USB connecter and plugging it in.

The Quiglite has many great features. The lite has a rechargeable battery, a magnetic to enable to attach to medal, long lasting LED, clip to attach, and best of all it is very cost friendly.

I showed it to my son and he immediately wanted it. The Quiglite once you use it you wonder why no one ever thought of it before,

Amazing

I have used this on patrol for two solid years. The product is amazing. I work late swing shifts so use it a lot. I have to only recharge it every couple months!! Light is bright enough to see your note pad/ticket book but not bright enough to make you a target at night. Fits perfect in my shirt pocket and never use my flashlight taking notes. It keeps my hands free so if something goes down. Can’t say enough about this product!!!

The Perfect Tactical Vest Light!

I have had one unit since May 2013 and have been using it with my tactical vest for just over a year at this point. I have never had any issues with it performing when I need it to. In heavy rain, sleet and snow there have been absolutely no issues. I would say that during one night in my shift, the unit will be used for approx. 2 hours. With this amount of use, I would need to charge it about one time a week. If I forget to charge it at home, I will just use the cable that I keep in my patrol bag to hook it up to the computer in the patrol car.Since I have started to use it, a quarter of the guys in my squad have bought one and have had no complaints.I recently had an incident where I was in a foot chase and had to scale a fence. I think that while going over the fence, for a brief time, all of my bodyweight was on the Quiqlite and the plastics were broken. I gave the customer service number a call and was talking to Brian in under a minute. I explained what happened and that any warranty that I would have had was now expired. He went ahead and shipped out replacement parts the next week no questions asked. So in short, great product and awesome customer service. I will continue to recommend this product to anybody that asks me about it

Incredible, Super Powerful Light!

“I use the Goal Zero 19010 Guide 10 Plus Small Adventure Kit to charge it during the day,
and use it at night. It has a total time of 2 hours at 150 lumens, it shuts off every 10 minutes of use so as to not waste energy.Better than a tent light. Can be clipped onto a variety of surfaces in a variety of ways, pivots up and down and side to side, full range of motion. It’s also magnetic.”3 Levels of brightness. I use it to read at night.
QuiqLiteX is a great product,

You guys probably don’t know but you’re getting popular in Belgium’s police force.

I work in Ghent Police force and tried out the quiqlite with UV and now I’ll purchase the Quiqlite X.
It goes around the force and now a lot of officers want to have one!

Congratulations with the fantastic product!

Brothers of LE,

I am a huge fan of this company and light, only because this is a great product. I am in law enforcement and used the original one for the last year, it has worked well, but the QuiqLite blows it out of the park.

I was stunned at how bright the little light is, with just one LED,it is brighter than the old style one I had. The rechargeable battery is a huge plus, I can charge it in my car white working and that way it’s always ready to go and with me. The way it slips/attaches on a shirt pocket and is concealed is great for my line of work. It is a great hands free light. I would advise anyone interested to get it!

J. Wal

To all,

It is rechargeable, that’s what I love about it. It has a run time of 2.5 hours at 150 lumens and shuts off every 10 minutes as to not waste energy. It can also be clipped onto a variety of surfaces in a variety of ways, pivots up and down and side to side, full range of motion. Its also magnetic. Using this light makes my job as a Fire Fighter Paramedic much easier by not having to hold a flashlight in my hands while working on patients. Why didn’t I think of this idea.

Great Little Light,

To whom it concern,

I just replaced my QuiqLitePro with a QuiqLiteX. This new product is one of my favorite on duty flashlights. I wear mine in the Molle webbing of my tactical vest with the clip removed. It is extremely low profile, bright and easy to use. I also received the XFlare light diffuser attachment with my order. I haven’t needed to use it yet, but after trying it in the dark, it is easy to understand how it can and will be used during a variety of situations in the near future. I feel like James Bond every-time I turn it on. Cool product!

thanks again

Dear QuiqLite,

I wanted to let you know how much I LOVE the new QuiqLiteX USB rechargeable product. I have been an officer for the past 12 years and have always thought how much easier it would be to read and write in the dark without having to hold a flashlight in my hand, under my arm and yes even in my mouth. You have developed a product that truly makes my job easier and safer! I especially like the fact that I can recharge the QuiqLiteX from any USB charging port. I have used my QuiqLiteX for the past 3 weeks and have only charged it 2 times. The New X brightness boost button is also a great feature when more light/lumens are required. After showing my fellow officers my QuiqLite, they also went out and bought one for themselves. Thanks again for manufacturing such an awesome flashlight.

QuiqLite,

Being a new officer, I learned that you have to be good at multitasking during a variety of situations. The QuiqLiteX allows you the freedom of not having to hold a flashlight while performing your duties. QuiqLiteX provides an extremely bright hands-free LED light that easily attaches to my uniform shirt pocket or exterior vest/carrier. Just about everyone on my shift has one or will be purchasing one in the very near future. I keep a second one attached to my visor and use it when writing citations and other paperwork at night-without having to use the dome light in my cruiser making it possible to see out of windows at night. QuiqLite X is one of my best and most useful equipment purchases I have made as an officer. I would recommend this product to anyone in law enforcement, fire and EMS. QuiqLite makes my job easier and safer! As a former volunteer firefighter I can also see how easy it would make patient assessments at night much easier, by not having to hold a flashlight in my hand, under my arm or between my cheek and shoulder. I recommend QuiqLite to everyone.

Dear QuiqLite Inc,

I thought you might be interested to know that I just LOVE the new QuiqLiteX — I fell in love with it this morning when I went to use the red LED to get coffee and tend to one of the stray kitty cats outside who came meowing to me approx. 90 minutes earlier than usual (~5:30am PDT)!!! Not only does it help preserve my night vision, the product is RECHARGEABLE so I’ll never have to worry about draining and then not being able to obtain disposable batteries for it!!!

I think I just found me a new EDC (Every Day Carry) light — and I haven’t even finished my evaluations (I’m just now setting up to perform beam cross-sectional analyses of them). Thank you ever so much, and have a truly fan-freakin-tastic week!!! 🙂

Best regards,
Craig Johnson

My Favorite Light

As a Security Officer who often works nights I found it a requirement to have a hands-free light that I would improve not only my safety, but also my productivity in the field.

The QuiqLite X Rechargeable is perfect for my needs. After it’s been used hard in a shift, I can come home, plug it in, and have it ready to go when the next shift comes along.

Thank you for building such a great product. I have recommended the product to others, and they are falling head over heels just to see my X rechargeable model.

K. Ma

Dear QuiqLite,

Just thought you might like to know I have one of your QuiqLiteX products and after dropping it on the ground I then ran it over with the squad car. I was amazed to find it still worked and is still working 4 months later. The detachable clip didn’t survive but the light, other than a little beat up is still working. Great Product!

Jason

Brian,

Years ago, I discovered your product as law enforcement officer and used it effectively when convert operations needed a stealthy environment to lighting situations. Now, I find that your new and brighter Quiqlite X has become extremely handy as a EMS helicopter pilot. It is extremely important that aircraft cockpit lighting for night time missions is effective, but unobtrusive because of our night vision equipment and operations. The LED Quiqlite easily clips to my flight suit and does not interfere with my safety belts or other necessary flight equipment. I can rotate the Quiqlite head to scan the cockpit instruments, or address items on my flight kneeboard without lighting up the entire cockpit. In addition, I have found that Quiqlite does not interfere with my night adaptation with eye recovery to bright light. Thank you for this great product.

To whom it may concern:

I just wanted to take the time and tell you what a great product I think your company has developed. Since I became an officer three years ago, I have constantly been searching for a pocket light that could do what your lights do. I feel that these lights create a much safer working environment for nighttime officers and allow us to tactically be much safer by not having to hold a large, bulky flashlight that is much too bright for the situation or disrupt our nighttime vision. The other nice part about your product is that it keeps your hands free and able to react to any situation that may occur. A squad mate recently gave me a Quiqlite Classic and I really appreciate having it as a tool to use in the field.

Thanks again,

Brian –

It was a pleasure seeing you at the IACP conference in San Diego. I want to tell you how pleased the enforcement and professional staff in this department is with your QuiqLite product. Following last year’s conference in New Orleans, we purchased enough QuiqLite’s for every member of the staff to be issued a light. Parking enforcement love the unit because they can operate the light hands free, this makes it easier for them to write parking citations. The code enforcement inspectors use the lights when writing reports and when operating measurement equipment which uses two lands. Our animal control officers are particularly thrilled with the product because the light with the clip leaves them lands free to manage animals. Because these units are so light and portable, the field staff always has the QuiqLite with them. To me, the unit is very affordable and a great value, so if one gets dropped, stepped on, or chewed up by a dog, the cost to replace the unit is only a few dollars.

We will continue to equip our enforcement and inspection staff with the QuiqLite. Thank you for making such a versatile and affordable product available.

Dear Brian,

I am following up from our conversation at the IACP in San Diego. I have had a QuiqLite for about eight years. It is still running on the original battery and still looks as bright as it did on its first day. My light is truly one of the originals with the screws on the battery cover, “Patent Pending” on the side, and a single blue LED. It has withstood years of patrol abuse and I still use it to this day.

Congratulations on such a stellar product.
Sergeant Curt Massey

Brian,

Got to work yesterday, and to my pleasant surprise there was a box waiting for me… And after only one night of playing around with it, I LOVE IT! The redesigned functions of the rotating clip and rotating lens are amazing.

Thank you again for your rapid response and fantastic customer service. I am definitely going to recommend this product to every single one of my officers. Thanks again,

Zac

To the sales department;
My name is Paul S. I am a Pennsylvania State Trooper stationed in a rural area in the Pocono Mnts. Of northeast Penna.

Two years ago, while at a local police supply store, STARR UNIFORM, Sam STARR gave me a QuiqLite.
On Monday 03/06/2006, on my 1300–2100 shift, I assisted a fellow trooper with a hit and run crash with injuries. After clearing from the scene of the crash, the investigating trooper along with another trooper and myself checked the surrounding area. Approximately 20 minutes after clearing the scene, the investigating trooper spotted the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. As usual the suspect fled and the pursuit was on. After approx. 20 min., the suspect jumped out of the moving vehicle and fled on foot. After I arrived at this location, we began a search of the surrounding area. The suspect was familiar with the area and fled across a frozen pond and into a wooded area. Myself and three other officers tracked the suspect in snow and across a stream, for three hours. During the search I went through (4) flashlights. 2 STINGERS and 2 MINI MAGS. During this time every time I ran out of light, my Blue QuiqLite continued to work; I was able to continue to locate the suspect’s footprints in the snow, and continued the search. Unfortunately at midnight we lost the tracks in a heavy brier patch.

Even though we were unable to catch the suspect that night, I was very impressed with the way the Blue light worked on the snow and allowed me to keep tracking. I had never used the light other then while looking at documents while on traffic stops or while sitting in my patrol car.

Thanks I will be telling many coworkers how good it was to have the little light.

Hello,

My name is Steven Davis and I am a Deputy Sheriff with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Broward County, Florida. I recently purchased one of your black colored Ultra Violet ID Check QuiqLite’s for work and carry it religiously every night. This is by far one of the best police products that I have purchased in quite a while as it has detected numerous fraudulent Florida Drivers licenses in the short time that I have had it. After showing this light to my supervisors, they are now presenting it to the administration for consideration of a bulk purchase for our entire district.
